AIMS/ Objectives:-

To form a forum which will provide a venue for interaction among interventional cardiologists in Kerala. All qualified cardiologists with DM/equivalent degree practicing intervention/Attached to hospital with active cathlabs. It also aims to promote research and spread information about new products and techniques related to cardio-vascular interventional procedures.

There will be an annual meeting which is a two-day affair. Every member is eligible to present interesting cases done in his center. Active discussions on various interventional procedures and interesting angios will be done.Atleast one focus session is mandatory in each meeting. Also there will be discussions about the recent advances in this field. All the recent trails will be discussed in the focus sections.

Research activities in Kerala related to cardio-vascular interventions will be coordinated by the council. The council also will give general guidelines for performing the procedures. At the annual conference special session will be allotted for Post Graduate Students and beginners. There will be separate sessions for Technician and Nurses. Post Graduate Students in cardiology will be encouraged to actively participate in the discussions.
